Def Leppard has plans for a new album and tour this year. Details of the upcoming set have not yet been announced, but the band says fans can expect a special collaboration. As for the tour, 19 dates have been lined up, starting with a show on March 27th in Greensboro, North Carolina and wrapping April 26th in Chula Vista, California. Tickets go on sale beginning January 11th at LiveNation.com.
Def Leppard has sold more than 65 million albums worldwide and went on a nearly sold-out tour last year, according to a press release. Singer Joe Elliot tells us he feels lucky about the band's success, especially with the current state of the record industry, as well as the struggles many new bands face:
