Slacker's Bio
Slacker is a 16 year veteran of KYYS and is the number one rated afternoon drive DJ in all of Kansas City. He began his radio career playing characters with legendary KY 102 mid-day personality, Paul Fredrocks "I have been fortunate to have worked with some of the most talented people in radio, past and present, and I bring a little of them with me every time I turn on the mic."
He's done every air shift since 1991, Slacker now calls the late afternoon show his home bringing his odd sensibilities and everyday observations to share with his listeners. "My show may not be REAL good, but it is REAL radio!"
He is a born and raised Kansas Citian and proud of it.
He derives satisfaction from playing requests and pissing off the boss, He says, "If you want to listen to the same music over and over, then sure as hell don't listen to my show!"
Slacker leads a simple life as a beer drinking, partying, bike riding badass, and he's proud of it!
